The Right Type Of Hydration

Staying moist in the winter time or in climates that are dryer are harder than we think. I know I’ve been a victim of lathering on the moisturizer or hair serum and a few hours later I’m as dry as can be. The trick is to make sure your using the right type of moisturizing products that will keep you hydrated. Gel based hydrators are not going to cut it! Let me show you a few that work for me.

Luxury Thats Worth It

I’ve posted this Skyn Iceland brightening eye serum in the past on my Instagram. It’s honestly one of my favorites at the moment. It smells like rosewater– which is extremely nice to smell and soothing when you are applying it. The packaging is an easy pocket size– great for on the go. Best of all, you can disburse the product in small amounts at a time (a little goes a long way.) This will definitely be my go to for now.

Lather Yourself With Moisture

If your the type that likes to skip and extra step then LATHER Sea Kelp Body Wash is for you. I sometimes dread putting on moisturizer after a shower, so when I’m lazy I use this body wash and it reliefs me of that additional step. It also leaves a refreshing scent all over your body– which is a nice touch.

Dry Hair?

All that shampooing and hair treatment can sometimes cause dry flakey hair. This BCL Naturals intense hydrating leave-in conditioning creme is just the trick. It feels thick at application but it’s definitely lightweight and actually gives you some flexible hold.

It’s enriched with lavender, avocado, soy protein, and carrot seed oil. If you ask me– that definitely sounds good for your hair and scalp. A little goes a long way so just put a dime size in damp towel dried hair and head out the door. Love when things are so simple.

Hydrating Emergency

We’ve all been out as some point– can’t find a Sephora or Nordstrom near by to grab a chuck of moisturizer for your dry face! Trust me, thats been me a time or two. This face mist is a savior when that happens. Just a spray of the L’Occitane mist makes you feel alive again. Definitely a must have in the glove compartment or your backpack!
